“Who am I?” In his letter, Paul is inviting his readers to remember their true identity. True identity remembers who God is (Jesus!), who we are, and who He says we are. All sin, on the other hand, results from mistaken identity and leads to inner brokenness and outer brokenness. Paul himself was learning what it meant to live out of his true identity.
