[February 4, 2024] This week our Pastoral Resident Amber Hicks continues our teaching series, “James: True Wisdom,” by taking a look at James chapter 4. James continues unpacking Jesus’ teaching to love God and love our neighbor. What causes fights? He invites his readers to (re)examine their motives, and what they consider to be wisdom. James invites them, not to selfish ambition, but to selfless ambition. Listen, be challenged, and be encouraged.
