“How long, Lord?” This question fills our minds: another mass shooting; a relationship gone sour; the darkness of depression; the struggle no one else knows about; recently hearing the dreaded word, ‘cancer.’ How long, Lord? It’s a question voiced in Psalm 13; it’s the question the Jews of Jesus’ day were asking under the tyranny of Rome. Easter is God’s answer to the question, “How long, Lord?” New to Jesus’ story? Not so sure about this Jesus stuff? Whether you’re new, not particularly religious, or from another tradition, this message is for you.
