[August 27, 2023] “Everybody wants to change the world, but nobody wants to do the dishes.” We’re not sure who first said it, but the reality of this rings true. Jesus and his disciples shared an awkward moment in Mark 10:35-45. His disciples had a view of “greatness” and what it would take to change the world. Jesus responds to his disciples’ assumptions and tells them greatness comes through service. But Jesus doesn’t just teach this reality; He lives it, and wants to empower us to live it too. Listen and be encouraged.
