Christians do some weird things. If you aren’t a Christian, you definitely know this is true. At face value, Jesus’ words in Mark 8:35 seem weird: “Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.” Try and save your life and you lose it?
