How can it be that those who hunger and thirst for God’s justice will be satisfied (Matthew 5:6)? A simple look at our world – its injustices, suffering, and brokenness – would seem to indicate those longing for God’s justice would be dissatisfied. Where are You God? In fact, some look at the injustice, suffering, and brokenness of our world as evidence there is no God. What does Jesus mean by His words in Matthew 5:6? Are these words about the future? Can these be words about our present reality in the midst of the injustice, suffering, and brokenness? Our Lead Pastor Nate reflects on these words of Jesus; take a listen.
