When we think of church, we tend to think of church buildings. But the first church buildings weren’t built until the mid 300s. Before there were church buildings, church met in homes. Church, at its core, is community formed by Jesus’ story. And the first communities formed by Jesus’ story met in homes. Homes were the places where community went deeper.
